Nature is our profession and our devotion. We respect it, we care for it and we defend it. That is why we do everything possible to build a sustainable business model.

Our substrate

National production, the flowers that mark the season

We always prioritize national production. We want to make the hard work of flower producers visible; we are interested in getting to know each one and marveling at what they are capable of providing. The largest productions provide us with generous quantities, and the most artisanal ones give us unique treasures. If you are a producer, we would love to meet you!

Sowing, to know and value

We work month after month in our home and nursery Gautron, studying and observing what the work on the land offers us. We try to plant those flowers that are not available in the local market, to continue expanding our floral art. But we also value those noble flowers that we all recognize. Being part of the process is always incredible. Go ahead and plant flowers yourself!

Wild harvesting, with responsibility

We love harvesting wild flowers and foliage, and we always encourage you to do so. We also encourage you to raise awareness about the responsibility of this task. For example, do not harvest more than 50% of the species in the area, we have to leave the rest to continue its life cycle, so there will be flowers the following season. Also do not harvest more than you are going to use! If you are not sure if that flower is suitable for a vase or for drying, do a test before continuing to cut.

What was cut, is treasured

We preserve the flowers in the best possible condition, so that they stay fresh for longer. When cleaning the stems, we separate the branches to use them in smaller bouquets. We leave the shorter branches in a basket to give to neighbors, or we save them for entrepreneurial friends who use them as raw material in their projects. And the long stems that are no longer fresh are left to dry. Nothing is wasted!

What came out of the earth, returns to the earth

All organic waste is composted, becoming new fertile soil.

What is not reused is recycled

Flowers come wrapped in nylon for protection, tied with elastic bands, and often travel in huge cardboard boxes. Some of our packaging products have surplus material. We try to give a second life to all these elements, and when that is not possible they are properly managed in a recycling plant.

National ventures are supported

In response to the needs of flower shops, we always prioritize national ventures that can solve them. We are happy to know that all the products for sale in our store are made by Uruguayan hands. Above all, we highlight our two lines of vases: glass ones made from recycled bottles and handmade ceramic ones.
